1989 W Congressional $5 Proof Commemorative Gold Coin
21.6 mm (0.850 inches). Commemorative Gold Proof Coin is composed of. 900 gold with 0.2419 troy oz of Gold. This coin comes in the original mint capsule, which I got directly from the U.
Mint and have never been opened. The obverse depicts the inscription "LIBERTY, " The Capitol Dome, "IN GOD WE TRUST, " and 1789. The reverse features the inscription "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, " "FIVE DOLLARS, " "E PLURIBUS UNUM, " "BICENTENIAL OF THE CONGRESS, " and an American Eagle. Note that the plastic capsules have very minor scratches that are not on the coin.
