This West Point gold Five Dollar proof coin was issued to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the United States Constitution. The front features a stylized eagle holding a massive quill pen. The reverse has another large quill pen.

To the left are 9 stars, signifying the First Colonies that ratified the Constitution, and 4 stars to the right representing original states. Only 651,659 were minted at West Point.
