2000 W Library of Congress Bimetallic $10 Commemorative Coin in OGP & with COA

For your consideration, one original 2000 W Library of Congress Bi-Metallic Commemorative Coin. As Jackson Browne once sang, "we forget about the losses and we exaggerate the wins". These coin sets were one of the few wins I can't exaggerate. As the clock ticked down on the year 2000 I was on a flight from PIT to TPA, reading Coin World.

I noticed the low sales for this coin, especially the Uncirculated version. But it had a steep price and sales were lagging. I kept two, but the time has come to sell off one of them. Words will fail the condition of this coin set.

The case looks as good as it did when it arrived from the mint in early 2001. This set has lived a quiet life in one of my safes, seldom seeing the light of day.

The coin is simply a beauty. A fully struck specimen with strong devices and flawless fields. The gold and platinum combination looks rich and strong, a fabulous pairing. The pictures are my best effort to show off the coin but I don't think I have done it justice. As always, thank you for looking, thank you for reading and thank you for your consideration!
